|Unique App Lets Siri Send Group Email|
|Monday, 17 October 2011 10:30|
Siri is amazing. You can use it to create and send emails to the contacts in your address book, just by asking. But this only works with the built-in apps that Apple provide, so if you wanted to use it to send email with a conventional group email app, for example, you'd be out of luck.
The unique way in which MailShot integrates with the apps on your device to provide group email everywhere, enables you to use Siri to send email to groups of friends or colleagues as easily as you would to a single contact. Just say "send email to groupname" and it creates an email to everyone in "groupname". Its as easy as that!
MailShot creates a special contact in your address book for each group- send an email to that contact and it gets sent to the whole group. This means it also works directly from apps like Photos and Maps, as well as from the Mail app itself. And because it integrates with Mail, it is also the only easy way to forward received emails on to your groups, with all attachments intact.
Since its original release in February 2011, MailShot has been continually updated to add additional features based on requests from its tens of thousands of users, such as turning your address book groups into MailShot groups, and fast contact import from the addressbook.
