Always need a backup plan, right?
One of my recent service calls underlines the importance of having a good solid backup of all your data. Lets face it, hard drive space is really, really cheap now a days. At a quick glance I see prices for internal 3.5″ Seagate’s are around $100 for 500GB of storage. Thats a huge amount of storage. Now that Time Machine is integrated into 10.5 it makes backing up your system easier then ever.
Don’t put it off, make sure you have a backup plan. If your data is really important to you, you should consider a off-site backup plan. Especially for design files. You can reinstall programs but your designs you never want to lose. The is nothing like having the security of knowing your critical data is secure and backup in 2 different locations.
